The Ondo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Deaconess Lola Fagbemi has assured various communities in the state that the current administration under the leadership of Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, will touch them positively and ensure rapid development.
Fagbemi who visited the Onimeri of lmeri kingdom during her monitoring of grading of rural roads in Ose local government area of the state affirmed that Akeredolu-led government will keep his electioneering campaign promises to open up rural comunities and link them to urban centres in order to promote agriculture.
The commissioner used the avenue to commend traditional rulers in Ondo State for their support.
Fagbemi appreciated the effort of the local government Chairman, Mr Agboola Ajike, for fastracking the road grading and performing beyond expectations.
In his response, the Onimeri of Imeri Oba Babatunde Adeniran 1, commended Arakunrin Akeredolu for working towards improving all sectors including health, education and social lnfrastructures.
The monarch described traditional rulers as custodians of culture, customs and traditions which must be protected at all times.
The local government boss who conducted the commissioner round to some of the graded roads in ldoani ward 2, lmoru and lfon axis described the grading project as a thing of joy to his people who are predominantly farmers.
A resident, Mrs.Olorunda Alice said the grading has opened many rural roads within the 12 wards of Ose.
